I will be teaching three “Intro to Meditation” classes at the Darien Library this summer.
Grab something comfortable to sit on, a pillow, a rolled up yoga mat, or use one of the chairs at the library and open yourself up to meditation. In this intro class I usually go over some basics and tips about beginning to meditate. Then I will lead the group in a guided meditation. In this meditation, after bringing you to a relaxed state, we will practice approximately 5 minutes of completely quiet “sitting”. Whenever anyone begins meditation, they should be gentle with themselves and start small. So, if you have always wanted to try meditation and just haven’t been quite sure where to start, come join us.
All meditation classes are in the Conference Room on the Mezzanine level of the Darien Library, 1441 Post Rd, Darien, CT.
